‘Deadline Hollywood’ has announced that actress Emme Stone will be replacing Kirsten Dunst as Spiderman’s love interest in the next Spiderman movie. The red haired actres from ‘Easy A’ was offered the deal, which was announced last week.
Since the movie series will be featuring a new Spiderman, portrayed by actor Andrew Garfield, Sony felt it was a good idea to have a new Mary Jane as well, and therefore set out to find an actress to replace Dunst as MJ.
The new movie is said to focus on the life of Peter Parker during his teen years. Emma Stone can currently be seen laying in ‘Easy A’ and is also said to be working on ‘The Help’ which is an adaptation of a best selling novel by Kathryn Stockett.
