Eminem ‘to star in 3D hip-hop horror film’
November 8th, 2009 - 12:46 pm ICT by ANILondon, Nov 8 (ANI): Rap star Eminem is set to star in a 3D hip-hop horror movie, according to reports.
As reported by trade paper Screen International, the rapper - real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III - will also produce ‘Shady Talez’, a horror anthology, said to be a cross between Creep Show and vintage TV program The Twilight Zone.
The film will be Eminem’s first big-screen appearance since his role in 2002’s 8 Mile, reports the BBC.
‘Shady Talez’ will feature three stories offering a hip-hop spin to classic horror films.
The project is being backed by DJ Classicz, a division of Davis Entertainment - the US company behind the Garfield and Aliens vs Predator movies.
The film will also incorporate a four-issue Shady Talez comic book series, due out in 2010. (ANI)
