Eminem says he is not homophobic
October 12th, 2010 - 5:58 pm ICT by ANILondon, Oct 12 (ANI): Eminem has revealed in an interview that although his songs may be littered with gay slurs and anti-women references, he is not homophobic.
“I don’t have any problem with nobody, you know what I mean,” the Daily Mail quoted him as telling Anderson Cooper TV show 60 Minutes.
“Like, I’m just….whatever.”
The 37-year-old rapper said he believed he had been singled out for criticism, due to being a white rapper.
The star also revealed that he was sometimes subjected to playground violence.
“I would change schools two, three times a year and that was probably the roughest part,” he said about his family’s constant moving during his childhood.
“[I got] beat up in the bathroom, beat up in the hallways, shoved in the lockers, just, for the most part, being the new kid,” he added. (ANI)
