Elton John postpones US gigs due to “serious case” of E-coli, flu
November 2nd, 2009 - 3:04 pm ICT by ANIWashington, (ANI): Elton John’s illness is weighing so heavily on him that the star has now postponed three upcoming gigs in Seattle and Portland after cancelling a series of concerts in the UK.
According to his official website, the shows have been postponed “due to a serious case of e-coli bacterial infection and influenza,” reports Us mag.
A spokesman confirmed that the “Candle in the Wind” singer “has flu and is absolutely fine,” reports the BBC News.
The organizers are now hoping that Elton would appear at the Seattle and Oregon shows in December. (ANI)
