Elton John helping Eminem fight drug use

“I’ve been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he’s doing brilliantly,” Sir Elton told Radio 5’s Danny Baker.
He added: “I’m there if people want my help. If people ask for help you tell them where to go, but there’s no point advising people if they don’t want to do it.”
It was in May 2009 that Eminem revealed that he called on Sir Elton when he wanted to get sober, reports Sky News.
“Me and him have had similar lives and stuff,” he told the Detroit Metro Times.
He added: “He understands … the pressure and any other reasons that you want to come up with for doing drugs.”
The two became good friends since they performed together at the 2001 MTV awards. (ANI)
