October 25, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): An uncommon combination but indeed true! It is now official that Lady Gaga will join Elton John in a duet for upcoming film Disney production “Gnomeo and Juliet”. Well we have heard that both singers are mutually fond of each other and have always praised one another’s works in public. The two pop stars have also shared the same stage for performances in the past, but a recording for a movie is a first timer and fans are already waiting to hear the ‘Hello Hello’ soundtrack from “Gnomeo and Juliet”.
As the name suggests, “Gnomeo and Juliet” is inspired from the Shakespeare classic ‘Romeo and Juliette’, albeit with a gnome in the place of the romeo! It has been reported that the Elton John – Lady gaga ‘Hello Hello’ duet will be featured at a time when the lead characters in the animation movie first set eyes on each other. The movie “Gnomeo and Juliet” is also produced by Elton John and partner David Furnish and is slated for a February 2010 release.
If all goes well, we may soon see both legendary singers pairing up again in Lady Gaga’s upcoming album ‘Born This Way’. Yes, Sir Elton John has expressed a desire to work with the pop singer again in the future. While we have often heard Elton John’s voice in a movie’s soundtrack, this is the first such experience for Lady Gaga.
