May 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Ellen DeGeneres, the host of the talk show titled “The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ has announced starting her own record label called “eleveneleven’.

In the words of Ellen, she has been inspired to start the record level by the YouTube sensation Greyson Chance, the 12 year boy who appeared in her show recently. Chance became popular after posting his performance video on Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi’ in YouTube. After his performance on the show, Ellen declared that Chance inspired her to start the record label.

DeGeneres said that Chance will be her label’s first artist and they will together make a record. She added that she’ll continue to use the show as a platform to find new artists for the label. “Eleveneleven’ has been set up in collaboration with Telepictures Productions.

Chance, who performed his original song, “Broken Hearts’, will be co-managed by Madonna’s manager Guy Oaeary and Lady Gaga’s manager Troy Carter.

Besides hosting the show, DeGeneres has recently joined as a judge on “American Idol’, which is in its ninth season. She has hosted both the “Academy Awards’ and the “Primetime Emmys’ and also acted in films like Mr. Wrong. She provided the voice for Dory in the Disney-Pixar animated film Finding Nemo and won a “Saturn Award’ for Best Supporting Actress for it.

In 1997, during the fourth season of Ellen, she publicly declared herself a lesbian in an appearance on “The Oprah Winfrey Show’. She is married to former Ally McBeal and Arrested Development star Portia de Rossi.
