Elizabeth Taylor honoured for AIDS charity
February 11th, 2011 - 3:39 am ICT by IANSLondon, Feb 11 (IANS) Veteran actress Dame Elizabeth Taylor has been conferred with a special honour for her longstanding AIDS charity work.Taylor who is the founding international chairman of amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, and also created the Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation (ETAF), devotes much of her time to fundraising.
And amfAR bosses celebrated her achievements at a party in New York to mark the organisation’s 25th anniversary, reports contactmusic.com.
