July 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” actress Elizabeth Banks is all set to appear in “Tink” as Tinkerbell, the famous character from “Peter Pan” series. The movie is a live action romantic comedy from Disney though the director of the movie has not yet been decided as yet. However, Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibrot will produce the movie and Elizabeth Wright Shapiro will write the screenplay of the movie.

The actress must be excited to be the part of the Disney flick and the producers are anticipating that the beautiful actress is the perfect choice for the iconic character of sweet fairy of “Peter Pan” series. The mischievous nature of Tinkerbell’s character will surely be edged perfectly by Elizabeth Banks’ who is well known for her acting prowess. The “Definitely, Maybe” actress has the ability to make this fictional character come to life and her fans are also expecting that the actress will live up to the character.

The fictional character of Tinkerbell appeared on screen in 1953 in the Disney adaptation of the classic “Peter Pan” and since then the favorite fairy has taken many incarnations. However, the new movie “Tink” will show the fairy character as the protagonist but the plot or the storyline of the movie is not yet revealed by the film unit. The project of the movie was developed by Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman who co-runs her production company Brownstone Productions and also Matt Smith of Offspring Entertainment. The Disney movie fanatics are waiting eagerly for the release of the movie.
