Eddie Munster Enters Local Jersey Rehab
November 12th, 2010 - 12:35 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonNov 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Butch Patrick, who is better known as Eddie Munster has finally followed the advice of his family after thirty years, and is seeking treatment for issues with substance abuse which apparently go back as far as forty years.
According to TMZ, the representative for Patrick stated that the fifty-seven year old actor has checked himself into a rehab center in South Jersey in order to get help for his addictions to alcohol, cocaine and more. He added that the check-in on Wednesday afternoon was to help the actor “get a grip on his addiction and educate himself.”
His family is said to be “very supportive” of his decision and the rep adds, “We have thought he could possibly be a product of the child star problem … and are thankful he will take control of his fate.”
Patrick is dating a former Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader, who is a lifelong ‘Munsters’ fan. She grew up watching Patrick play the part of the boy werewolf on the show. Patrick now lives in the Philadelphia area and had recently been making Halloween appearances.
