Ed Westwick wants to play ‘Batman’
October 10th, 2010 - 5:41 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Oct 10 (IANS) “Gossip Girl” star Ed Westwick wants to play “Batman” in a movie.
“It would be a dream come true to play Batman in a big blockbuster movie. He was my childhood superhero,” contactmusic.com quoted Westwick as saying.
“He’s a damn good fighter and has access to amazing gadgets, such as the utility belt and, of course, the Batmobile - I’d give my left arm just to sit in it,” he added.
The 23-year-old star also spoke about his fledgling music career, admitting he had to leave his beloved band because his acting commitments were too great.
“I had my own band, The Filthy Youth, but I left it over a year ago because I found it difficult to juggle music with my filming commitments,” he added.
