In March 2010, the stalker – Michael Barrett was sentenced to 30 months behind bars. Stalker Michael Barrett had pleaded guilty to stalking the ESPN reporter for one and a half years, and making nude videos of her, on his cell phone. In March, he was sentenced by a judge in Los Angeles, and also asked to pay Eric Andrews $7366 in restitution. At the court hearing, Erin Andrews said that she suffers from anxiety, depression and public humiliation, as a result of seeing her nude videos on the Internet. “I’m being victimized every day…and I did nothing to deserve it,” Andrews said.

These emails first bordered on the sexual aspect, but soon changed track, and now say that Erin Andrews might be shot as well. According to reports, the emails are said to have originated in Newport News, Virginia. However a FBI is investigation is on in this case, so there ought to be some concrete results soon.
