Duo RK – Shaji Kailash Come Together In ‘Ab Tak Chappan’ Remake

November 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): RK and Shaji Kailash who had previously worked together as a successful pair in the Tamil film industry are reportedly coming back to set the big screen on fire once again. Though the details of their upcoming film together have not yet been revealed to the media, reports claim that the duo will next be seen in the remake of the popular Hindi film Ab Tak Chappan, which featured Nana Patekar in the role of an encounter specialist.
The actor – director duo had last been seen in the successful Tamil film ‘Ellam Avan Seyal’. Their upcoming film together is tentatively titled ‘Kadamai Kanniyam Kattupadu’, and if the name does not ring a bell in your ears, it is the same name that was used for a previous Kamal Haasan production. In fact media reports claim that Shaji Kailash has requested for Kamal Haasan’s permission to use the name for his upcoming remake of Ab Tak Chappan. And in all likelihood, Kamal Haasan has allowed the director to use the name of his film.
RK is still not ready to leak out details of the plot of his upcoming film with Shaji Kailash. While the media is hungry for more news on ‘Kadamai Kanniyam Kattupadu’, the actor says that it is too early to speak on his upcoming film.
