London, Dec 11 (IANS) Actress Kirsten Dunst has obtained a temporary restraining order against a French fan who has allegedly been waiting for her outside her home.

The “Spider-Man” star claimed that Jean Christophe Prudhon, 51, flew down to the US to meet her and even confronted her mother on the doorstep.

The actress also claims that Prudhon has sent her more than 50 letters declaring his love for her and that he had sold his home to pay for his travel expenses to the US, reports contactmusic.com.

“I am frightened for my safety, as well as the safety of my family and friends who visit my home. I am worried that Mr. Prudhon will escalate his conduct further, putting myself and my family in danger,” Dunst said in court documents.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Carol Boas Goodson granted Dunst a temporary restraining order, ordering Prudhon to stay 100 yards from the actress and to stop trying to contact her.
