Arkansas, Oct. 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There has been a new addition to the famous Duggar clan of the “18 Kids and Counting” show, that came in the form of a tiny bundle of joy. Not doubt the event held an exhilaration of massive proportions for Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, who welcomed the first of the grandchild of the lot.

According to reports of the People magazine, Michelle and Jim’s eldest son Josh and his wife Anna are the proud parents of the first born of the next generation. The adorable baby has been named Mackynzie Renee Duggar, which has been derived from Anna’s middle name, which is Renee as well as the name of Josh’s cousin, which is Mackynzie. It has been revealed that the new parents have not yet arrived on the decision of whether they will be naming all their children beginning with “M” or not, following the tradition of the Duggar family. It is known that Michelle and Jim had named all their children beginning with “J”. Earliest reports [given out by Meredith Vieira on the Today Show] had indicated that the baby weighed 8 pounds and is 19 and a half inches in length.

The baby was welcomed in to the world by his parents at their home and the delivery was guided under the strict supervision of a midwife as well as a doula. It has also been revealed that Josh had been very much a part of the entire procedure of the birth of Mackynzie. A family friend has reportedly told People, “Josh was excited to participate in the birth as well. They are both so happy.”
