Tontitown, Oct 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The reality TV family, the Duggars, welcomed their first grand-child on Thursday. Josh Duggar, the eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 18 children and his wife Anna welcomed a baby girl, called Mackynzie Renee Duggar who weighed 8 pounds and 19 1/2 inches.

The proud parents Josh and Anna, who are both 20, wed on Sept. 26, 2008, at the Buford Grove Baptist Church in Hilliard, Fla., after meeting at a home-schoolers’ conference in 2006. They said that it was love at first sight for them.

“We’d be happy with two or three,” Josh said. “I think that children are a blessing though and when you raise them right they’re a great blessing.”

“I ask Anna what she needs,” Josh told People in July. “I talk to the baby and we involve her in our conversations. When Anna and I are talking to each other, we’ll say, ‘So, how do you like that, Mackynzie?’

Josh’s siblings include twins Jana and John-David, 19; Jill, 18; Jessa, 16; Jinger, 15; Joseph, 14; Josiah, 13; Joy-Anna, 11; twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, 10; Jason, 9; James, 8; Justin, 6; Jackson, 5; Johanna, 3; Jennifer, 2 and Jordyn-Grace, 9 months.

The Duggar family are the stars of a reality TV show called 8 Children and Counting, which is about Jim Bob and Michelle and their 18 children. The children are all named with the letter ‘J’. However they have to rename the show soon, as the 19th kid of Jim and Michelle is due and is scheduled to arrive next spring.
