Dubai, Jan 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The ‘world’s highest’ restaurant is located on the 122nd floor of the tallest building in the world.

The restaurant which is simply called ‘At.mosphere’ is home to several cuisines. A cup of coffee at the restaurant will cost nothing less than $8. At 1,350 feet from the floor, the restaurant now has the distinct record of being the highest restaurant.

This ‘honor’ used to be previously held by the 360 restaurant which was located inside the CN Tower in the Canadian city of Toronto.

At.mosphere may not get to be the world’s highest restaurant for that long. The Burj Khalifa tower which is the world’s tallest building stands at a staggering 2,717 feet from the floor. That means at 1,350 feet, the At.mosphere restaurant is barely at the halfway point of the restaurant. If another restaurant gets an office on the upper floor, it will take the new reign as the highest restaurant in the world.

The restaurant’s owners are targeting European customers as such the restaurant’s menu has many European dishes on it. Customers though need to be prepared for the high prices that the dishes on the menu are being offered.
