Drew Barrymore to direct again
May 20th, 2010 - 12:45 am ICT by IANSLos Angeles, May 19 (IANS) Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore who marked her directorial debut earlier this year with “Whip It” will be going again behind the camera for “Surrender Dorothy”.
The film is based on a script by Zach Helm which was originally set to start in 2002. It has now been raised by Warner Brothers, though it is unclear whether Drew is still planning to act in it too, reported imdb.com.
The actress was originally going to play the great, great granddaughter of Dorothy who has to learn how to use the power of those ruby red slippers to keep the wicked witch of the West from taking control of the kingdoms of Earth and Oz.
