London, Apr 5 (ANI): Actress Drew Barrymore and singer-turned-movie star Mandy Moore joined former US President Bill Clinton in helping students package food for the needy.
Clinton, 64, ended the final day of his Clinton Global Initiative University conference in San Diego, California with a speech to 800 students urging them to work together to help those in need in their local community.
Barrymore, 36, also addressed the crowd before she and Moore, 26, helped volunteers at the San Diego Food Bank prepare care packages. The facility sells discounted food to charities that distribute it to needy citizens.
Barrymore also reminded students of the daily need to help those less fortunate than themselves.
“The way that you spend your day can change someone else’s life,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying. (ANI)
