Drew Barrymore doesn’t like being labelled a ‘celebrity’
September 4th, 2010 - 6:00 pm ICT by ANILondon, Sep 4 (ANI): Drew Barrymore has taken a rough stand against reality show stars, insisting she resents them often being awarded the same status as professional actors.
The ‘50 First Dates’ star, who was first a child star, objects to being coveted in the same “celebrity” bracket as such people.
“I’m a little p***** off to be compared with someone who’s on a reality show, because I’ve worked so hard and I feel it’s belittling to the efforts I make,” the Daily Star quoted Drew as saying.
The actress, producer and director, just had an on-off relationship with Justin Long, co-star of her latest romantic comedy ‘Going The Distance’. (ANI)
