New York, Apr 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) When you have a $10 million investment in carving out the very best of your project which has been through some serious brainstorming sessions, success just can’t escape your grasp. This is exactly what DreamWorks Studio came up with on Monday when they finally announced their overpriced virtual world “Kung Fu Panda”. The website sits on the elements of inspiration from DreamWorks movie by the same name which had witnessed huge box office records, way back in 2008.
The website is mainly catered towards children between 8-12 who shall be able to play, learn Kung Fu styles from Kung Fu panda and chat with their friends through this innovative website. Kung Fu panda World shall also help them to find and own a pet. The Membership charges for Kung Fu Panda World is a monthly charge of $5.95. However, DreamWorks also offers a 24 hours free option where children shall be able to play free of charges for one day only, if they sit through a 15 second advertisement. They are free to come back the next day to avail the free option but to browse through other features one has to pay the membership charges. Virtual World has raised its head high above all other entities in a few years which makes DreamWorks quite a newbie to this arena as the Animation Company has never ventured in to virtual world projects targeted towards the children.
Kung Fu Panda World happens to be the follow up effort by DreamWorks’ studio which is seemingly reminiscent of Viacom and Walt Disney, which went ahead to acquire virtual worlds from Club Penguin and Pixie Hollow & Petpet Park and Neopets respectively.
