Drake releases ‘Take Care’

Hollywood, Nov 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After releasing chart-topping singles, Drake has finally released his second studio project “Take Care.” The actor-turned singer released the album on Tuesday (15th of November 2011).

Ahead of the release of the album, the singles “Make Me Proud” and “Headlines” were released and they were both successful on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album has received several favorable reviews and will undoubtedly establish Drake’s reputation as a serious singer.

The Chicago Tribune gave the album 4 out of 4 stars. The Globe and Mail were more charitable giving the singer a near perfect 3.5 out of 4 stars. The industry magazine Rolling Stone rated the album 4 out of 5. Pop Matters gave the album 9 out of 10 and that was the biggest rating the album has received.

The album which has a total length of 80 minutes and 13 seconds has 18 tracks. The track list includes “Over My Dead Body,” “Shot for Me,” “Headlines,” “Crew Love,” “Take Care” (featuring Rihanna), “Marvins Room,” “Buried Alive,” “Underground Kings,” “We’ll Be Fine,” “Make Me Proud” (featuring Nicki Minaj), “Lord Knows,” “Cameras / Good Ones Go,” “Doing It Wrong,” “The Real Her,” “Look What You’ve Done,” “HYFR (Hell Ya F***ing Right),” “Practice” and “The Ride.”

This is the second album of the singer following the release of Thank Me Later, last year.
