The wife of Dr. Oz, Lisa Oz is reportedly shooting a daytime-talk-show pilot.

Lisa is shooting the show with Sony Pictures Television and the show is expected to be focused on solving relationship problems. Lisa is the author of the book “U.S. Transforming Ourselves and the Relationships that Matters Most”.

Lisa’s husband show with Sony Pictures Television “The Dr. Oz Show” has seen some strong ratings for a daytime series for the seven years that it has been in existence. Dr Oz’s show is the third highest rated television talk show in the United States after those shows hosted by Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Phil McGraw. That might be the reason why Sony finds working with another Oz appealing. However they do not intend to go all out just then.

The show will initially be run on pilot basis and if it receives favorable ratings, Sony plans to launch the show in fall 2011.

Lisa has co-hosted the XM radio version of her husband’s show several times and she has contributed enormously to the books in the “YOU: The Owners Manual” series.
