Dozen unreleased songs of Amy Winehouse could be released soon

London, July 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There are reports that a dozen of Amy Winehouse’s unreleased songs could be released soon. The news was confirmed by a spokesperson for Universal. It ought to be mentioned here that Amy’s record company was Island Records, which is a subsidiary of Universal. A dozen new tracks is pretty good news for all the fans of Amy Winehouse.

According to The Guardian, the spokesperson said that, “Amy had expressed an interest in getting back into the studio, and after some consultation everyone thought that would be a positive thing and a distraction from the other things she was dealing with”. However all the tracks are not complete as some of them are still in the initial stages whereas some of them are almost complete. The spokesperson also added that, “she had put down the bare bones of tracks and some were further along than others.”

Since the last album the late singer had released was five years ago, in 2006, so this is really pleasant news for all her fans. Her last album was named ‘Back to Black’ and it was released in 2006 and it also received rave reviews from the critics and the fans alike.
