London, Nov 28 (IANS) Singer Stevie Nicks is urging fans to donate money to military charities after witnessing the difficult situations of injured soldiers.

The 63-year-old is a regular visitor to hospitals treating war veterans, and she is rallying to raise funds for the United Service Organizations and the Wounded Warrior Project.

“I have been (to visit wounded soldiers) many times. It’s something I do now because many are very injured, and they need help, and they need people,” contactmusic.com quoted Nicks as saying.

“They need people to send money to the USO and to the Wounded Warriors, and they need people just to be aware of what these kids (have sacrificed),” she added.
