Now, the secret to her fame and fortune has been revealed. Dolly Parton who had recently performed with her at Dollywood and then revealed afterwards that, “I’m her fairy godmother.”

Parton has been present in the life of the teenage star since she was a toddler. Billy Ray Cyrus, who is Miley Cyrus’s dad got to know Parton when he became famous in the in the early 1990s with his hit “Achy Breaky Heart.” Billy is really pleased that Parton encouraged him in his acting career and also served as a role model for his talented daughter.

In a recent phone interview, Billy Ray said that, “It’s great that she has someone like Dolly to idolize, someone to look up to. Having that type of influence in her life, it’s so amazing and so special.”

Parton said she sees Miley as a little sister or one of her nieces. “I’m just real proud of her. She does not need my advice, but she’s often asking for information and advice, and I tell her what I know, but I think the girl’s doing all right without me,” she said.
