July 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Teen sensation Miley Cyrus does not have a Godfather brooding over her head and decisions but a godmother who insists that the girl is doing fine without there being much need of the latter’s interference. Country legend singer Dolly Rebecca Parton who is better known as Dolly Parton recently said to a media source that she is Miley Cyrus’ “fairy godmother”. The singer made this statement just after she did a program with Miley Cyrus and some other stars at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Dolly Parton had shared a long association with Billy Ray Cyrus and his daughter Miley Cyrus. She had seen Miley Cyrus from her very childhood days. The singer said reportedly that she considers the multi-talented teen sensation Miley Cyrus as one of her nieces or rather a little sister. During the interview she also said that she is proud of the new heights that Miley Cyrus is reaching. She added that the “Hannah Montana” famed star according to her does not need much advice from Dolly Parton, but often asks for it and also for certain information. On her part Dolly Parton believes that Miley Cyrus is doing “all right” without her.

That Dolly Parton plays a major role in the life of Miley Cyrus was mentioned and acknowledged by the father of Miley Cyrus who said recently during a telephone interview that Dolly Parton had not only inspired his own acting career but also that of Miley Cyrus. He had said reportedly that he is happy about the fact that Dolly Parton acts as a role model for his daughter. Billy Ray Cyrus said, “Having that type of influence in her life, it’s so amazing and so special”.
