London, Jan 9 (IANS) Troubled British rocker Pete Doherty has kept a low profile ever since he has moved to Paris and is thinking of making it his permanent residence.Doherty has been repeatedly arrested for drug offences, driving under the influence and driving with a suspended licence. But now he wants to stay away from the law and other problems.
Thesun.co.uk quoted a friend as saying: “Pete is not bothered by people in Paris and finds it creative and romantic. He wants to move there but will keep his place in Wiltshire as his bread and butter will still be gigging in Britain.”
Doherty was in London recently where he supported singer Lily Allen’s comments claiming that the effects of cocaine are sensationalised.
