Documentary “David Suchet On The Orient Express” Airs On PBS

exprJuly 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Renowned British actor David Suchet steps into the legendary train Orient Express to take viewers into a ride through Europe in the latest documentary which was aired on PBS which has been titled “”David Suchet On The Orient Express: A Masterpiece Special.” In the documentary which was shown on PBS on Wednesday night, the accomplished actor commences his 2,000 miles journey spanning all across Europe in as many as six countries which turns out to be a delightful watch for all the viewers who had turned in to watch the much-anticipated travelogue.

The fact that the documentary which was aired last night also served as a preview to the upcoming new series on PBS based on Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express,” also accentuated the interest among the viewers who were waiting eagerly to catch a glimpse of the documentary. However, it would not be misleading to say that the travelogue featuring the celebrated actor indeed lived up to the hype that it had managed to create.

In the documentary, David Suchet is seen traveling from London to Calais in northern France from where he boards the Venice Simplon Orient Express and one the way makes a number of breathtaking halts on Venice while the train is on the way to Prague. At the same time, the viewers are also left highly entertained when David Suchet traces the illustrious history of the train and gives the viewers a clear idea about how the train began its journey and over the years how its legacy has continued to live on.
