Doctor Sued By Mac’s Widow

August 7, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): In recent news, the late Bernie Mac McCullough’s widow has sued the doctor, who diagnosed him.
This Ocean’s Eleven star passed away about two years back in August 2008. He was suffering from a long-drawn-out battle with pneumonia. His widow, Rhonda McCullough had filed a wrongful demise lawsuit against dermatologist Rene M. Earles.
Rhonda filed the lawsuit last week after alleging that the doctor overlooked the signs of respiratory malfunction after Mac visited him at his Chicago, Illinois clinic on July 7, 2008.
Rhonda believes that Bernie Mac McCullough should have been admitted to the hospital without delay for additional assessment. However, he was just kept at the clinic. She alleges that a proper and further examination could have saved the star.
The lawsuit papers were all filed in Chicago’s Cook County Circuit Court state.
Earles, however, defended his procedures. He said that he did advised Mac to go directly to the hospital after he learnt that he was diagnosed with pneumonia in both his lungs. Mac did appear week after he turned up at Earles with a fever and an inflammation.
