DJ Tiesto assures his fans that he is alive and his death news was just a hoax

California, July 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest celebrity to die an Internet death at the hands of the rumormongers is none other than DJ Tiesto. There had been numerous reports circulating on the Internet since the morning, that the celebrated DJ Tiesto had been killed in a car crash.
However DJ Tiesto made it clear that he was pretty much alive and the death news was a mere hoax. He also released a statement about his well being. The statement said that, “I don’t know where these stories come from, but I’m very much alive and well and looking forward to the rest of my tour.”
The upcoming events of the Dutch man include an event in London’s Victoria Park, where he is set to perform on the 30th of July.
His real name is Tijs Michiel Verwest and he was born on the 17th of January 1969. He is a well-known Dutch musician, DJ and also the record producer in the genre of ‘electronic dance music’. He keeps re-inventing himself and has kept many aliases for himself, but he is best known as DJ Tiesto. It is said that the name ‘Tiesto’ is in reality a twisted version of his childhood nickname.
