DJ Sues Brandy For Breach Of Contract

August 21, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): A DJ of international repute has sued Brandy, the singer for allegedly failing to deliver her part of the bargain. The said DJ has stated that he is a huge name in Scandinavia and had paid $10,000 to Brandy for writing as well as singing 32 bars of music.
The DJ, Marc Mysterio is known for doing a pretty impressive remix of ‘One More Time’ which came out last year.
The lawsuit was filed in the County Superior Court on Friday. Mysterio maintains that he is well known throughout UK, Scandinavia, France, Italy and Benelux. He claims that Brandy had accepted the payment in July but never got down to writing the music. He has now lost almost $25,000 as a result, he states.
Marcel Albert which is the real name of Mysterio, is reportedly suing the singer for $6 milion for breach of contract. The reason for demanding such an astounding sum of money has been stated as compensation for loss of income, loss of face as well as inability to replace her with a superior singing talent. According to Marc, he along with his colleagues had also made arrangements for International commercialization.
Brandy, the reality show star, is no stranger to lawsuits either. She had been accused for causing the death of a mom of two back in 2006. Her car was involved in an accident which resulted in the tragedy. She had been named in the $50 million suit which was filed for wrongful death in 2007.
Brandy was not available for comment when the press tried to contact her about the story.
