Dj Sandy returns to Mumbai!

April 9, 2010 ( Sampurn Wire): DJ Sandy has been playing in countries like Australia, UK and the UAE and now he is back in Mumbai. Sandy started of his career with Psy-Trance from his home town Pune. His international career picked up when he moved to Dubai, by playing alongside David Seaman at Enigma where he was later offered residency.
“I’m doing a two year degree in sound which offers me the facility to choose any country I want.” His first Year was spent in Australia and now he plans to spend the second year in London. He also added that the people back in his hometown were interested in various Genres; but how can one explore Night life in a city like Pune where everything shuts down at 12?
In a time where most Indian DJs are moving into the commercial Bollywood music, DJ Sandy says “I won’t play any commercial music. When you come to watch a DJ, the DJ needs to offer you something in return. If want to hear to the music you wanted hear, you can do that on CDs.”
That’s a great relief for those who long for new music in the clubs, tired of hearing the age old and done to death commercial Hindi and western music!
