Dizzee Rascal planning to donate England WC song money to kids’ charity
June 7th, 2010 - 5:02 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 7 (ANI): British rapper Dizzee Rascal has decided that the royalties he receives from the official England World Cup song will be donated to a children’s charity.
Rascal is working with comedian James Corden for the recording of the song for England’s team at the World Cup in South Africa.
The 24-year-old rapper and Corden revealed on reality TV show Britain’s Got Talent that they will be donating all the received royalties to the Great Ormond Street Hospital for children, reports The Daily Express.
“We’re donating our part to charity, me and James,” Rascal said.
Corden said: “Dizzee’s royalties and my royalties are all going to the Great Ormond Street Hospital.” (ANI)
