July 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Child actress Diya Sonecha, who is playing the youngest daughter of Kajol in the film We are Family, is the most pampered one on the sets of the film. Director Siddharth Malhotra was often seen babysitting the little five-year-old Diya Sonecha.

In We Are Family, which is a remake of Julia Roberts starrer Stepmom, Diya is the youngest character. The director knows well how to keep the kid in happy mood as she is a moody child like many of her age. Siddharth was seen doing every possible thing to keep her happy. He brings a chocolate box to the location for Diya and often gifts her to get the proper shots from her.

Siddharth says, “One is required to understand the mood of a five year old kid like Diya. I have my two kids of four and eight years. So, I understand the need of a child as a father”.

There was never a delay in shoot for Diya but to get the required shot, she needs to be pampered a lot.

The director adds, “Her character is very important in the film starting from the first to the last scene, so she deserves to be pampered”.
