Divorce was the worst: Denise Richards
June 14th, 2011 - 6:48 am ICT by IANSLondon, June 14 (IANS) Actress Denise Richards says she and actor Charlie Sheen went through “one of the worst divorces”.
Richards and Sheen, who have two daughters, Lola, 6, and Sammy,7, together, ended their marriage in 2006 and although the actress says they once shared a “beautiful love story”, she also admits it all descended into bitterness at the end.
Explaining her decision to write a memoir, which is being released next month, the 40-year-old said she wanted to reveal what it was like to “struggle” through the divorce.
“People have only gotten the rotten stuff so, you know, there was a beautiful love story between he and I and I know that it went the way it went, but I talk more about how I felt during that time because I feel like a lot of women can relate to that, going through a divorce and custody and being a single parent and trying to work and all of that stuff,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Richards as saying.
