Disneys Enchanted tops weekend Box Office for second week

Washington, Dec 3 (ANI): Disneys Enchanted, a movie that pokes fun at Disney princess adventures, has topped the weekend Box Office for the second week with an earning of 17 million dollars.

In second place on the list complied by Exhibitor Relations was family comedy-drama This Christmas with an earning of 8.4 million dollars.

Third highest grosser for the weekend also did not change, with Angelina Jolies Beowulf that raked in 7.9 million dollars. Jolies animated flick only lasted one week at the top of the box office.

The only change in the top five was the entry of Awake, which grossed 6 million, thereby coming in at fourth place on the list.

The top five was rounded off by the Timothy Olyphant starrer Hitman which earned 5.8 million dollars.

Hitman is the film adaptation of the video game series by the same name. The movie was directed by Xavier Jens.

The earnings have Hollywood watchers worried as it is down nearly 50 percent from last year.

The top 10 films based on Friday-Sunday estimates compiled by Exhibitor Relations are:
