Disney makes its presence felt in India
October 6, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Walt Disney India is on an ambitious plan to bring Disney into the lives of the Indian kids. Disney and its cartoons have been a part of many generations of Indians in the past and it is a well recognized brand with little presence. Things are about to change with the launch of the new Disney Production Do Dooni Chaar. The new movie will star the hit onscreen and a off screen couple of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor (Neetu Kapoor is making a comeback after a long time).
The new Disney Live action Comedy Film will be about a simple middle class family, their dream, aspirations and optimism. The Duggals are a happy-go-lucky family, who have learnt to live within their means. But, one day they start dreaming about achieving big things in life. The movie has a sense of openness, fun and oneness that categorizes it as a light hearted comedy identifiable to the lives of millions of Indians.
Disney recently revealed that the movie fans will be able to able to buy the tickets and merchandise for all popular movies through social networking sites like Facebook. Disney studios revealed that the new application will allow Facebook users to ‘poke’ their friends and relatives so that they can watch the movies together. Fans can buy merchandise for their favorite films with the new Facebook Application as well. We are sure that Disney’s brand presence will be bolstered by the new marketing efforts.
