Disney Brothers Confirm That ‘Jonas L.A.’ Is Canceled

This decision by the makers of the series is likely to break the hearts of many young persons especially those who are still considered to be tweens.
Reports of the series not being aired any more started doing the rounds after Paul Hoen, the director of the show tweeted that ‘Jonas LA’ is destined to end on the 6th of November. The Disney Brothers confirmed the news soon after when they spoke to the EW stating that no new episodes of the show has been shot, nor are there any pending.
The spokesperson for Disney Brothers reiterated this fact saying that ‘Jonas LA’ has successfully been concluded after being aired for two seasons. The Jonas Brothers are also said to be occupied with their 40 city concert tour after which they will get busy with their musical projects for Disney – Hollywood records. The makers said that they hoped to work with the Jonas Brothers again in the future.
This season saw ‘Jonas LA’ garner top ratings placing it among the top five TV shows meant for the tween group. The 13 episodes of the last season was seen by 3.7 million viewers on an average.
The sitcom was first seen on the Disney channel in 2009 which gained in popularity rapidly and went on to be considered for Emmy nominations. It was considered for an Emmy in the category for the ‘Most Outstanding Children’s’ program during its second season.
