Disney And Pixar Unveils Online World Of Cars!

Aug 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Those who love car racing games have reasons to feel excited now. In a latest move Walt Disney Co has introduced an online community named World of Cars which is inspired by cars, a 2006 hit made by the Pixar Animation Studios. The virtual world allows the user to make an online world as they sign up for the service. After that they can interact with car characters like Tow Mater, Lightning McQueen and others. They are also allowed to interact with the other players online. It seems that Disney wants to keep the kids hooked to this online community till the next year as the sequel to Cars is in the making.
The premier event of The World of Cars featured celebrity guests like Jenifer Lewis and Cheech Marin. Disney Online Studios executive vice president Lane Merrifield said that the aim of Disney is to provide a social and creative environment so that the kids can use their imagination and have fun at the same time online. The studio is eager to get the response from the fans of the movie. Pixar is also upbeat about this development. The users get a lot of customization options for making their cars in this community. They can even build custom racing tracks.
The best thing about the virtual World of cars community is that there is no advertising or banner ads that can prove to be distracting. This game runs fine on any web browser and if anyone wants to get access to the extra features in the online game he needs to pay a fee of $5.95 each month.
