New York, Mar 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Discovery Communications has lapped up Sarah Palin’s reality show. The officials at the Discovery Communications announced on Thursday that they had procured the rights to the eight-part reality show series. Survivor producer Mark Burnett will produce this show. With this new reality show, TLC now boasts of a huge lineup of reality shows like “Sarah Palin’s Alaska”, “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” “Cake Boss” and “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant.”

The filming of “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” is set to begin in the summers. This show is based on Alaska, and it will showcase some rare features of Alaska, as seen through the eyes of the former Alaskan governor – Sarah Palin. It is rumored that Sarah Palin has also been demanding $1 million to $1.5 million per episode. However some sources suggest that the Discovery Communications have managed to lap up the series at $1 million per episode.

This move by Sarah Palin seems to be a volte face from last year, when she said to Barbara Walters that she wouldn’t host her own talk show, as it would not be in the best interests of her family. She had reportedly said that, “I would not ever want to put my kids through such a thing,” she said. “Our life has become kind of a reality show.”
