Carla Bruni Sep 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Woody Allen, director of the upcoming movie, Midnight in Paris has denounced ongoing speculation that the wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy found it difficult to act in her scenes for the movie.

Allen stated that the French First Lady wasn’t just great to work with but highly likable too. The first Lady who worked as a supermodel in the past starred briefly in the movie alongside Owen Wilson and Marion Cotillard.

Allen made an unconditional denial on rumors that Bruni-Sarkozy had to act over 30 times repeatedly to get a scene right in an interview with Corriere della Sera. He said he was shocked to hear those reports because there was absolutely no truth in them. He said that, “I am appalled. I read these things and I could not believe my eyes. These are not exaggerations, but inventions from scratch. There is absolutely no truth”.

Reports had claimed the French First Lady had problems in getting a scene right and had to shoot dozens of times because she couldn’t just take her eyes off the camera. She was also said to be involved in a huge row with her husband, Nicolas Sarkozy who was at the film’s shooting scene.

Allen stated that Sarkozy was happy to see his wife in action.
