Director Bala’s Disappointments Continue

August 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Filmmaker Bala assured that his upcoming film Avan Ivan will be completed by July and hit screens in August. But it looks like the filmmaker hasn’t kept his promises as the major part of the film is yet to be completed.
Bala’s previous films Sethu, Nandha, Pithamaghan, and Naan Kadavul have been tremendous showpieces. Indeed, Bala is considered the Godfather of today’s superstars Vikram and Suriya as he paved their ways to success by casting them in powerful roles. On the other hand, the filmmaker is always complained for dragging his projects with longer shooting schedules.
But this time, the filmmaker had assured winding up of Avan Ivan within 6 months as producers had plans to release the film in August. Nonetheless, the auteur never followed the schedules. Lots of constraints like call-sheet issues have delayed the film’s completion.
