meg1_1Los Angeles, Mar 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Those who have seen movies based on ferocious sharks like ‘Deep Blue Sea’ or the all time favorite ‘Jaws,’ can try watching the recently shown SyFy movie ‘Dinoshark’ for a refreshing change. This monster flick produced by cult horror and monster movie maker Roger Corman presents a creature that is a blend of fierce shark and prehistoric dinosaur, no matter how bizarre that sounds. The Dinoshark is massive and fearful in appearance. It is seen ravaging the Mexican sea beach and then a boat captain decides to salvage the situation. It was shown on SyFy yesterday around 9 p.m. Roger Corman has made a number of monster movies and his earlier flick ‘DinoCroc’ received good response from the viewers.

‘Dinoshark’ touches on the theme of global warming as the movie shows the frozen eggs of dinoshark hatching after ice melts in the North and South poles owing to rise in sea temperature. The visual effects used in the movie are top notch. The filmmaker is going to come up with another monster flick that is named Sharktopus as he revealed in the interview. He uses lesser known Hollywood actors in most of his movies but that does not deter them from becoming popular.

‘Dinoshark’ has got largely positive reviews from the viewers so far. Eric Balfour has done a decent job in the film. The preview and trailer of Dinoshark is still available in the web. For ‘Sharktopus,’ Roger Corman is going to don the hat of director after a long time, which is enough reason his fans to be waiting for the flick to be released.
