March 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): While Dileep hasn’t delivered any major hits recently, he is still counting on the promising projects that he has. He seems to be relying, most of all, on Tamil filmmaker Gautham Menon’s film.

Gautham, who is also a Malayalee, has been contemplating about starting off a movie in Malayalam. Dileep showed his interest in the project and after a little discussion, Gautham decided on Dileep. The film will be bilingual and its music will be composed by AR Rahman. It will start rolling in a few months time.

Gautham’s latest film, Vinnaithandi Varuvaya has been a hit in both Kerala and Tamil Nadu. It was filmed in Kerala and ran successfully in some centres in the metropolitan cities. AR Rahman’s songs have also been successful with the young generation.
