Los Angeles, Apr 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) As the “American Idol” Season 9 is nearing its end, it seems that each and every contestant is trying to come up with their best, not only to get the appreciation of the judges but also of the viewers whose votes decide their fate on the show. On Tuesday night, Crystal Bowersox who had performed well in many previous episodes and has been able to get praises for her performance from the judges came up on to the stage with a guy who played a unique instrument called didgeridoo.

Though the instrument is not new for the Australians, it was a surprise for the viewers who have hardly heard of any such instrument so far in “American Idol” performances. However, like every week this week too she pulled off well and also managed to capture the attention of the viewers, with a bit of didgeridoo thrown in. The didgeridoo was played on stage by a guy named Ernie who played the instrument as Crystal Bowersox performed. Crystal Bowersox on Tuesday night, sang “Come Together” by The Beatles.

The theme of the night was “Lennon/ McCartney” and though the selected song is not the best under the theme; with the kind of vocal quality she has, Crystal Bowersox was able to pull it off well. After her performance along with didgeridoo, Ellen DeGeneres mentioned that she had tried to play the instrument herself once and maintained that it is tough to play. The Instrument was able to hold on to the attention of the viewers who remained glued to their television sets not only to hear the performance of Crystal Bowersox but also to hear Ernie play the didgeridoo.
