Diddy’s Supreme Team is now named Dream team
June 21st, 2010 - 1:38 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 21 (ANI): Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has changed the name of his new rap supergroup ‘Supreme Team’ to ‘Dream Team’ after discovering that another act was already being performed under the same name.
The rap tycoon took the inspiration for the name from infamous New York drug kingpin Kenneth ‘Supreme’ McGriff.
Diddy had recruited Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Red Cafe and DJ Khaled to his new band.
“Due to another group owning the name supreme team in efforts not to hurt their business we have decided to change our name to the DREAMTEAM,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying on his Twitter page.
The hip-hop super group has still not announced plans to record together in the studio.(ANI)
