didiAug 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rapper Sean John Combs who is better known by his stage name Diddy has given vent to his anger and disappointment over Martin Bashir the former ABC “Nightline” host who had interviewed the star rapper in June this year. In an exclusive interview to a magazine that has published the story in its August/September issue, Sean John Combs (Diddy) has said that he found the grilling of Martin Bashir on the issue of the former presenting his son with an expensive Maybach on his 16th birthday to be “racist”.

Sean John Combs or Diddy is one of the well known and high-paid rapper in United States and in his interview to the magazine he had mentioned that it is the unconscious racism in Martin Bashir that had led him to ask such a question to Diddy. Diddy mentioned that he found the question “racist” and added that the same question would have never been asked by Martin Bashir to a white person. According to Sean John Combs, the whole thing of being asked about his gift to his kid seemed racist. According to him, white people never have to face such a kind of question and that they can gift their kids Porsches and convertible Bentleys without being asked about it once. He added that the question asked by Martin Bashir puts the whole thing back “in perspective with money and the way that people still look at you [black people]“.

Diddy mentioned that he regretted his decision to sit for an interview with Martin Bashir. However, the star rapper said that he does not imply that the question was intentionally meant to be a racist one by Martin Bashir. He had said that Martin Bashir perhaps did not ever realize that his question was racist and that he would not have asked such a question to Steve Jobs.
