Nov 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Diddy and his Dirty Money team seems to be going steady despite their recent debut in 2009. That is the reason why this band got an opportunity to perform at the American Music Awards, in the second year of their musical career. An achievement that not everyone can dream about. The band drooled the audiences with their groovy rap yesterday.
The song named “Coming Home”, is part of their upcoming album, “Last Train To Paris” which is dated to be released on December 14 this year. The Dirty Money’s two singers, Dawn Richard and Kalenna, sporting a white abstract dress entered the stage, with a dramatic entry of Diddy, who was welcomed with a whirl of smoke all over the stage. No one knew that the smoke would precede a fiery performance as the band would start singing. He made an entry with his rap number “What am I supposed to do when the club lights come on?” sporting a black suit, combat boots and a half moon hair do. The audiences were waving their hands with thrill and screaming their lungs out to welcome the superstar. One of the audiences, was his son, Christian Combs, who sported an illuminating smile as he saw his father performing.
Diddy and Dirty Money said that their performance was dedicated to the “all black everything” movement. The orchestra supported the Diddy and the Dirty Money crew as they went ahead with the four minutes performance on “Let the rain wash away, All the pain of yesterday.” Sources say that this band definitely has all the elements of a perfect showmanship as they interacted with audiences really well, by encouraging them to sway their hands sideways, and thereby help them cheer up at the Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles.
