Did Mariah Carey pull out of the movie due to her pregnancy?

She was supposed to start shooting for her upcoming movie this week itself, but all of a sudden she quit the movie, without assigning any substantial reason. She withdrew from the movie on Tuesday. Her spokeswoman Cindi Berger said that, “I’m not at liberty to discuss her personal life at this time.” She refused to divulge the real reason behind the abrupt withdrawal from the movie.
Mariah Carey was all set to act in the adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s 1975 play ‘For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf’, but she would no longer be a part of the project.
Her husband Nick Cannon had hinted in early May, that there might be a new addition to their family very soon. He had said that, “Her schedule is starting to calm down, you never know… In the next year or two, the rumors might come true.”
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon had recently celebrated their wedding anniversary by renewing their wedding vows. According to reports, it is a tradition for the couple and they get married every year, on their anniversary.
